RALPH DINOLA
Founder and Principal
Ralph DiNola is a visionary leader in sustainable building practices and climate change mitigation with more than three decades of experience. As the former CEO of New Buildings Institute (2013-2024), Ralph spearheaded initiatives that positioned the organization at the forefront of built environment decarbonization, including the Getting to Zero Initiative, Advanced Water Heating Initiative, and the GridOptimal Buildings Initiative.
Previously, as a Principal at Green Building Services (2005-2013), Ralph managed major sustainable projects worldwide, consulting on hundreds of LEED projects including the largest LEED project globally at the time in Doha, Qatar. His expertise spans market transformation, collaborative leadership, and organizational strategy with a focus on carbon-neutral building solutions.
Ralph's approach combines technical knowledge with strong team leadership and business acumen. He excels at developing strategic partnerships, facilitating complex initiatives, and leading through transformational change. His commitment to innovation and sustainable development continues to shape industry standards toward a regenerative future.
